Job description
Work as a Senior Strategic Planner - Technical with a leading organisation based out of Northern suburbs.
Skills required include:
- Working knowledge of planning legislation and other related planning land use policies and strategies and their application and delivery.
- Gis skills an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other associated software applications including Excel to undertake work tasks.
- Ability to utilise GIS and other systems and utilise data to prepare maps and plans for analysis and communication purposes.
- Tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning or related fields.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify optimal solutions to land use planning issues.
- Ability to provide a strategic perspective and an integrated approach to the consideration and assessment of development opportunities and proposals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage workload and deliver projects to agreed timeframes.
