Join a leading financial services organisation in Brisbane as a Technical Architect and play a critical role in shaping secure, scalable, and reliable technical solutions.This role will involve working on projects focused on disaster recovery, business continuity, and organisational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop IT solutions for disaster recovery, business continuity, and organisational resilience, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance standards.
  • Provide architectural leadership, ensuring solutions meet resilience, security, and non-functional requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Oversee third-party consultants and collaborate with project managers to define architecture deliverable and allocate resources for continuity-focused projects.
  • Mentor teams, improve architectural practices, and contribute to the overall strategy for IT resilience within the organisation.

About You:

  • Experienced IT Architect with a strong focus on disaster recovery, business continuity, and organisational resilience.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Extensive experience working with Azure, GCP & SaSS models
  • Database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Multiple infrastructure platforms (Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Citrix, and VMware)
  • Networks (Routing, F5, Netscaler, Palo Alto, VMware VeloCloud)
  • Enterprise application platforms
  • Mobility and/or End User Compute
  • IT Service Management (ServiceNow)
  • Strategic thinker who influences technology decisions and mentors teams to continuously improve architectural practices and resilience solutions.
