Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Life Insurance business based here in Sydney who are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join them on an initial 6-month contract to assist with projects that will run for several years.

You will bring exceptional experience using open-source tools to implement automation frameworks as well as experience writing automation scripts in Java.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement a robust automation testing framework
• Work to imbed an 'automate first' mentality within the team culture
• Work as a hands-on quality assurance analyst within an Agil projects environment with other BAs, Developers, UX designers and business stakeholders
• Assist with the facilitation of monthly UAT sessions
• Build automation scrips in Java

Essential Requirements

• At least 5+ years' experience in the implementation of automation frameworks
• Must have confidence building scripts in Java
• Experience using Selenium
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Automation testing APIs
• Other experience using tools such as HP ALM/QC, Jira and Confluence highly regarded
