Job description

Dive into the heart of strategic decision-making and join a reputable insurer as their Senior Workforce Insights Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging claims data and workforce planning data to provide actionable insights that contribute to strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse claims data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic workforce resourcing.
  • Develop and implement predictive models to forecast future workforce needs based on business projections and industry trends.
  • Create Qliksense dashboards and enhance data literacy across the organisation, ensuring data quality and refining data definitions.
  • Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team, to provide insights and strategic guidance.
  • Collaborate within a business support function to seamlessly integrate insights and data into decision-making processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
  • Contribute to other business-related activities and initiatives as required.

About you:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
  • Three or more years of demonstrated proficiency in workers' compensation, general insurance, or financial services.
  • Hands-on expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as Qliksense, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is desirable but not necessary.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adept at working effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent planning and decision-making skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
