Job description
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow professional to lead the design, development, and administration of our ServiceNow environment. This role involves hands-on work across modules such as ITSM, IRM, ITOM, and CMDB, along with a strong focus on automation, integrations, and platform performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure modules for Observability and Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
- Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Support ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
- Build and automate workflows, forms, and processes using Flow Designer and Business Rules.
- Design and maintain data models across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and CMDB.
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems via REST APIs, JSON, and ServiceNow Spokes.
- Manage access controls, user roles, and permissions aligned with data privacy standards.
- Develop dashboards and reports for service performance visibility.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and liaise with ServiceNow support as required.
- Oversee timely and disruption-free updates and patching of the platform.
- Lead Service Catalog and request management enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement tailored solutions.
- Apply best practices in scripting and configuration across the platform.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, including UI Policies, Client/Server scripts, and automation.
- Proven experience with integrations using REST APIs, JSON, JDBC, SOAP, and other protocols.
- Familiarity with Flow Designer, Business Rules, and platform automation.
- Experience with Application Portfolio Management (APM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
- Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and ITSM best practices.
- Proficiency in HTML5, XML, CSS, and general UI development is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) for automation and integration is a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required); additional certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar technical role.
