Senior Developer - Cyber Security
About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Senior Developer to join a team in Canberra, focusing on cyber security initiatives. As a Senior Developer, you will play a vital role in advancing software engineering capabilities and developing innovative cyber security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely delivery of cyber security software products meeting specifications.
- Write high-quality code to implement technical functionality, following best practices.
- Assist team members in using developed software products effectively.
- Develop technical documentation and artefacts to support software engineering processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cyber security capabilities.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated understanding of best practice software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in developing applications using C#.
- Experience with cyber security tooling development or usage.
- Familiarity with implementing and maintaining CI/CD solutions.
- Ability to write technical documentation effectively.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience assessing Windows security and Microsoft Active Directory security.
- Knowledge or experience in penetration testing techniques.
- Familiarity with Python, Rust, and Golang.
