Job description
Our client, a telecommunications organisation, is seeking a Senior Architect E2E Networks. The role is to work in an agile cross-disciplinary commercial units, IT and the of course the network team.
The primary project objective will be to lead end to end solution architecture duties for the Multiple Operator Core Network initiative (MOCN).
Reporting into the Associate Director of E2E Architect Networks of Service DevOps, your role will include pre-production and production design activities involving Radio Access Network, transmission, Security and Service design.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience within and managing intensive projects; primarily network upgrades (RAN)
- E2E deployment through to production and future maintenance
- Extensive design documentation
- Experience in a highly operational role.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience as a professional engineer in the telecommunications industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of public switching telephone networks and telecom networking (Carrier Experience)
- Experience and skills in area of product design, products rolling out for fixed and mobile including the implementation of Fixed to Mobile Convergence (FMC).
