About the Opportunity

A Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Splunk & Dynatrace Monitoring Analyst to join a fast-paced and collaborative Technology Services Division. The role is central to delivering innovative, fit-for-need ICT monitoring solutions to support a range of mission-critical business systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-impact team driving proactive systems health, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor critical business systems using industry-leading tools, including Splunk and Dynatrace.

  • Gain a strong understanding of enterprise architecture and business processes to tailor monitoring strategies.

  • Develop and refine monitoring solutions including alerts, dashboards, and reports to proactively detect issues.

  • Perform daily health checks and respond to incidents with effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to resolve system issues and recommend improvements.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to evolve and mature monitoring frameworks and capabilities.

  • Maintain high-quality documentation of systems, processes, and monitoring configurations.

  • Analyse system data and logs to identify patterns and support decision-making.



To be considered for this role you must have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in ICT monitoring or ICT operations roles, preferably involving CRM systems.

  • Proven experience developing and implementing monitoring solutions and alerts using log analysis platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver process improvements and efficiency gains.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on technical and business documentation.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in complex ICT environments.

  • Hands-on experience using Splunk for monitoring, analysis, and alerting.

  • Solid understanding of common log formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and plain text.
