Work as an SQL Database Administrator with a leading IT Consulting firm for a long-term Melbourne based project.
Responsibilities and Skills required include:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Database administration.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Experience with SQL or the equivalent in one or more of the database platforms' native programming language (s). E.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL, Access SQL, Python, etc. will be good to have.
- Experience in file structures, design, retrieval, access methods, etc.
- Managing the organization's data assets, supporting applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless database operations.
- Focused on installation and support of database management systems.
