About the role

SAP SuccessFactors Payroll EC Consultant is a highly specialised role responsible for working with the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) module, particularly focusing on payroll processes and integration with Employee Central, which is SAP's cloud-based human resources information system (HRIS).

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs related to payroll processes.
  2. Design, configure, and implement SAP EC payroll solutions to meet business requirements and compliance standards.
  3. Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the successful implementation of payroll solutions.
  4. Provide technical expertise and support for SAP EC payroll module, including troubleshooting issues, resolving system errors, and optimizing system performance.
  5. Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation to support the adoption of SAP EC payroll solutions.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to SAP EC payroll solutions and incorporate them into the organization's processes.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, to integrate SAP EC payroll solutions with other systems and processes.
  8. Participate in ongoing maintenance activities, such as system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, to ensure the reliability and scalability of SAP EC payroll solutions.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. SAP certification in Employee Central (EC) payroll module is required.
  3. Proven experience (10+ years) working as a SAP EC Consultant with a focus on payroll solutions.
  4. In-depth knowledge of SAP Employee Central Payroll module, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
  5. Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  6. Experience with system implementation methodologies, such as SAP Activate or ASAP methodology.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
