Job description
Our client, a much-loved media and entertainment company, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst (Data) to join their small team and act as the end-to-end Technical Business Analyst who will be heavily involved in leading, for what is known to them as their "reporting uplift sub stream". The successful incumbent will be responsible for gathering data and translating into technical requirements for the technical team as well as the delivery.
Essential Requirements:
- Identify, refine, and document data, reporting and security requirements from business stakeholders and translate into technical requirements.
- Produce recommendations papers and contribute to high level solution design.
- Technical delivery lead for the sub-stream, including test management lead.
- Produce test strategy and define test cases, with inputs from the delivery team.
Desirable Requirements:
- Substantial experience as a Technical Business Analyst for complex data and analytics solutions.
- Significant data project experience, with exposure to a modern data stack and proficient SQL skills with experience in writing queries to analyse data.
- Specific experience working on data projects involving workforce data would be highly desirable (any workforce management system ie Kronos UKG).
