Job description

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be managing the Technical changes throughout the environment by ensuring change control processors are enforced and fulfilled. You will be reporting directly to the IT Operations Manager and ensure all responsibilities are completed successfully and delivered within the appropriate business and ITIL frameworks where applicable.

You will be responsible for:

  • Change Management
  • Project Transition Management
  • Major Incident Management
  • Problem Management

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


    ▪ Provide quality information to the IT Operations Manager in all areas of responsibilities
    ▪ Provide Aid and support to other members of the team in performance of their roles and responsibilities
    ▪ Act in accordance with all policies, procedures practices and guidelines in the performance of accountabilities
    Take all reasonable care for their own and others safety and wellbeing while at work.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


    ▪ Experience in managing technical changes and problems within an organisation
    ▪ ITIL Foundations Certified
    ▪ Good working knowledge of PMO frameworks
    ▪ Experience in ITIL aligned organisation
    ▪ Creativity and attention to detail
    ▪ Highly organised and with an ability to prioritise and multitask
    ▪ Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make major decisions
    ▪ A preparedness to take the initiative and a strong desire to achieve results
    ▪ A working knowledge of ITSM toolsets (preferably Service Now)
    ▪ A strong back ground in Governance through change management system and the ability to work internal and external relationships towards business outcomes
