Job description

Are you a skilled Test Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and a profound understanding of Cooperative ITS wireless networks? We invite you to apply to this full-time permanent role based in Adelaide.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess a solid understanding of applications, network layer, and medium access control protocols within the Cooperative ITS wireless network landscape.
  • Experience in wireless ad-hoc networking to contribute to the success of groundbreaking projects.
  • Solid understanding of C code to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our software and firmware.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute robust methods and procedures for testing and inspecting product quality and reliability, ensuring our Cooperative ITS wireless network applications meet and exceed expectations.
  • Release and implement updated software and firmware to production, contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems.
  • Take charge of maintaining the production database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Compile, assess, and analyse production test data, providing valuable insights for ongoing improvements and optimisation.
  • Introduce and refine test processes, monitoring functional test yield, and taking corrective actions to enhance overall product quality.
  • Perform thorough QA tests and regression tests on internal software releases, ensuring the stability and reliability of our solutions.
  • Provide crucial support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless integration of testing processes.
