Join a dynamic team where your expertise in virtualization, cloud, and system administration will play a key role in supporting robust infrastructure environments. We're seeking a VMware Engineer with solid hands-on experience across VMware, Azure, Windows, and Linux platforms to support and optimize enterprise-grade environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server platforms, including key services and enterprise applications.
  • Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, focusing on performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Support and maintain Linux systems such as RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu, including system tuning and log analysis.
  • Oversee VMware Cloud Foundation environments, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
  • Resolve complex infrastructure issues and ensure system availability through proactive monitoring and incident response.
  • Contribute to automation and DevOps initiatives by developing scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) and leveraging tools like Ansible or Puppet.
  • Collaborate across teams to align system operations with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and reports related to performance metrics, incidents, and infrastructure changes.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing VMware-based infrastructure, both on-prem and hybrid.
  • Proficiency with Azure cloud services, deployment, and monitoring practices.
  • Strong background in administering both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of access control, system hardening, and general security best practices.
  • Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze and respond to complex technical challenges under pressure.
  • Candidates must hold a current NV1 security clearance to be considered
