Melbourne based - 12 months contract with extensions likely - Must have NV1 Security Clearance!
Work as a Public Cloud and Storage Engineer with a Global Consulting firm on one of their established Melbourne based Government sector projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with IT and cloud teams to implement, manage, and optimize storage and backup strategies.
- Administer and optimize Azure Storage solutions, including Blob Storage, Disk Storage, and File Storage.
- Configure and maintain VMware VSAN Storage environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and support SAN storage solutions, including provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Azure Backup Implementation.
- Handle and resolve incidents related to storage and backup systems.
Skills required:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Azure Storage, VMware VSAN Storage, SAN Storage, Azure Backup, Microsoft Azure Backup, and Microsoft Azure Recovery Solutions.
- Proficiency in managing and configuring Azure Storage and Backup solutions, VMware VSAN, and SAN environments. Familiarity with disaster recovery and high availability strategies.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are a plus.
