Key Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager for Data Modernisation will:
Lead end-to-end delivery of an Enterprise Data Platform over two years, aligning with broader transformation objectives.
Ensure clear communication across teams, stakeholders, and leadership, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
Maintain essential project documentation, including plans, schedules, and risk/issue logs, ensuring smooth transition to business-as-usual.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Manage budgets, timelines, and quality assurance to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to deliverables.
Drive innovation and strategic alignment with related initiatives.
Apply robust project management methodologies, with a focus on benefits realisation, risk, and data-driven solutions.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Proven senior-level experience managing data modernisation projects and building enterprise data platforms.
Technical understanding of data platforms, architecture, data governance, modelling, and integration.
Strong stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills.
Leadership capabilities to motivate teams and manage under pressure.
Strategic thinking with a focus on aligning projects to organisational goals.
Expertise in risk management and problem-solving.
Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and resilience in managing challenges.
Commitment to high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
Experience in guiding change management processes during technological or organisational transitions.
End-to-end project delivery experience, from design through to implementation and handover.
