ICT DATA ARCHITECT - DATA AND AI

THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Data Architect to join a leading Data & AI team working on a major government project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale initiative that is shaping the future of data-driven solutions in the public sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define data requirements and design application data structures, storage solutions, and integration points.
  • Develop and implement data access strategies to optimise retrieval and storage.
  • Apply data architecture principles to ensure integrity, consistency, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data processes with AI and analytics initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and application of data taxonomy frameworks.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and key decision-maker within the project team.
  • Provide leadership and guidance across teams, driving solutions and resolving issues.
  • Engage with stakeholders to support critical architectural and design decisions.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong experience designing and modelling application data structures, storage, and integration.

  • Intermediate proficiency in:

  • Data access strategies and optimisation
  • Data architecture principles and best practices
  • Data & AI processes, frameworks, and strategy
  • Data taxonomy development and application
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and provide technical leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver solutions across multiple teams.
