**Job Advertisement: Project Manager**
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of initiation and planning phases in line with the client's Project Delivery Framework. This role will oversee the project's schedule, budgets, scope, and the quality of phase deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
**Key Deliverables:**
- Market Scan to inform procurement (where required)
- Business Case, including benefits quantification and mapping of the initiative
- High-Level Risk Assessment
- Business Impact Assessment
- Business Requirements and costings for technology changes
- Enterprise Architecture sign-offs in alignment with IT/Release Management framework
- Project Management Plan and Schedule for delivery phases
- Stage Gate documentation for the Initiation and Plan Phases
The role demands hands-on involvement in the creation of deliverables and close collaboration with sponsorship and leadership teams.
**Core Experience:**
- Significant project management experience handling high-value, highly complex projects across business and technology areas
- Proven experience in establishing new initiatives, business cases, and funding requests, including:
- Aligning project goals with the strategic objectives of the organization
- Gathering and analyzing data to understand business needs and project impacts
- Evaluating financial implications, including costs, benefits, and return on investment
- Documenting high-quality business cases, including plans, financial models, and executive summaries or presentations
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of both waterfall and agile delivery methods
- Familiarity with the System Development Lifecycle and ability to lead and influence discussions with vendors and quality assurance teams to ensure business objectives are achieved
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives
- Ability to bridge technical discussions with overarching business goals
- Financial Services experience would be beneficial
**Desired Experience - Initiatives Related:**
1. **Insurance Product and Service Review**
- Experience in an Insurance/Claims environment, including operations
- Experience with implementing claims management systems or similar case management solutions
- Understanding of the regulatory environment for Insurance in Superannuation
- Legislative Review enabling product revisions
- Technology sourcing, selection enablement
- Process Design and Optimization
- Operating Model
2. **Superannuation Product Roadmap**
- Understanding and experience in the end-to-end lifecycle of financial products
- Understanding of the regulatory environment of Superannuation
- User experience - delivering projects with a focus on user experience and efficiency
- Ability to integrate user experience frameworks and methodology into business analysis activities to produce user-centric solutions
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product changes, implementation, and launch
3. **Digital Experience Platform and Business Process Management**
- Strong understanding of DXP market solutions, digital marketing, and user experience
- Strong understanding of BPM market solutions
- Experience in overseeing the development of delivery strategy for similar technologies
- Ability to integrate user experience frameworks and methodology into project planning, delivery, and outcomes
- Support business stakeholders in understanding modern platform needs and requirements
- Strong technology understanding to enable collaboration with technical teams to ensure successful integration with existing technologies
