Job description

Join a leading Qld Government Department and take the lead in developing and managing a comprehensive suite of visual communication assets.

You'll take the lead in developing and managing a comprehensive suite of visual communication assets, ensuring alignment with organisational standards. Your work will support program implementation across Queensland, translating complex information into clear, engaging visuals that inform, inspire, and drive action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a visual asset library to support program-wide communication

  • Design and update key brand materials: presentation templates, letterheads, logos, EDMs

  • Develop data visualisations, infographics, icons, and graphic storytelling elements

  • Create professional templates for reports, strategies, business cases, and plans

  • Ensure brand consistency across internal digital platforms and training materials

  • Provide expert design advice to internal stakeholders and project teams

  • Stay current with design software, trends, and best practices

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience producing design materials that align with government or corporate branding guidelines

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating polished, branded presentations

  • Familiarity with Vision6 or other EDM platforms

  • A strategic thinker with strong visual storytelling skills

  • Excellent stakeholder communication and a collaborative, proactive mindset


Nice-to-Have Tools:

  • Canva Pro (for stakeholder-ready templates)

  • Figma or Adobe XD (for digital/UX components)

  • Experience designing for SharePoint or other CMS platforms
