Job description

About the Role:

As a Technical Lead, you'll play a key role in guiding a cross-functional scrum team, delivering secure, scalable software solutions on AWS. You'll work closely with senior developers, architects, and the core product team to build innovative features and enhance a multi-tenant SaaS platform used by clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical delivery and provide guidance to developers within your scrum team

  • Mentor and coach developers while promoting best practices

  • Collaborate with product and architecture teams to shape new components and improvements

  • Design and develop both frontend and backend features for energy market solutions

  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions

  • Work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality outcomes

  • Champion technical standards and participate in cross-team forums to resolve complex problems

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS

  • Expertise in full-stack development including:

    • Java (Play Framework)

    • MySQL database management

    • Angular or React frontend frameworks

    • Containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes

  • Familiarity with SaaS/multi-tenant platforms and microservices architecture

  • Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines)

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Bonus Points For:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering

  • AWS certifications

  • Experience designing user interfaces for energy market platforms
