Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced and driven Key Management Service (KMS) Operations Specialist to join our client's technology team. You will play a vital role in supporting, securing, and optimizing a robust key management infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside talented engineering, operations, and security professionals to build and maintain secure and scalable KMS solutions.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Ensure stability, resiliency, and performance across key management systems.
Handle requests from business users and operations, and manage access provisioning/deprovisioning for infrastructure and applications.
Implement and support change management, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
Deploy and maintain secure key management infrastructure aligned with security and compliance standards.
Monitor and optimize KMS performance and scalability.
Enforce cryptographic and security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and keys.
Collaborate with engineering and security teams to automate key lifecycle workflows.
Participate in post-incident reviews and drive improvements to minimize recurrence.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in cryptography and key management.
✅ Required Qualifications:
Solid grasp of cryptographic principles and key management best practices.
2+ years' experience working with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) - ideally Thales HSM.
Hands-on experience with KMS platforms, e.g., Azure Key Vault.
Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go).
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with incident and problem management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Deep expertise in Key Management practices.
Proven experience operating critical infrastructure or application environments.
Exposure to industry-standard monitoring tools.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Strong troubleshooting skills around encryption, decryption, and key rotation
