Job description

We're looking for a Solution Architect - Data Platforms to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, cloud-native data ecosystems. In this role, you'll shape the backbone of enterprise data strategy-enabling analytics, governance, and innovation at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the enterprise data platform architecture strategy aligned with business goals and IT governance.

  • Design cloud-native architectures to support structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data workloads.

  • Lead architectural decision-making across data ingestion, storage, processing, integration, governance, and analytics.

  • Provide technical leadership on data lakehouse, data mesh, and real-time streaming solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-Data Engineers, Analysts, and other Architects-to ensure fit-for-purpose, scalable designs.

  • Drive evaluation and integration of platform technologies such as Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Kafka, Delta Lake, Informatica, and IICS.

  • Promote architectural standards, reusable patterns, and best practices across teams.

  • Ensure data platforms are secure, performant, scalable, and available to meet enterprise-grade non-functional requirements.

  • Support and advocate for robust data governance frameworks; familiarity with Alation and Experian is highly valued.


About You:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade data platform architectures.

  • Deep understanding of modern cloud and big data technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align technical solutions to business goals.
